My Story

I’m Michelle, a mum, nutritionist and recipe developer based in beautiful Wairarapa North Island of New Zealand.

I became a nutritionist mostly because I love food and cooking and have always had an interest in nutrition, health and wellness.

Over the years I've tried all the fad diets going and was so focused on weight loss or maintenance. I've suffered with gut and digestive issues, eczema and symptoms of underfuelling. I was put on the pill at a young age due to painful and unpredictable periods which, when I decided to stop I had major unbalanced hormone and stress symptoms such acne, anxiety, PMS, low mood, brain fog and fatigue.

Working on balancing my own hormones and dealing with health problems, and years of studying learning about evidence based nutrition I help women and their families with nutrition, health and lifestyle. I want to improve womens quality of  life so they can be more confident and happy to just live life instead of dealing with symptoms.

I started MM Health so that I could help women understand they don't just have to deal with these conditions and spread this much more balanced, holistic approach to food and lifestyle and help people to be as happy and healthy as possible. Most of all I want you to achieve your goals with yummy and nutritious food while taking care of your mind and body.

I want to help women on their health journey, whether that is deal with symptoms of a condition they have been diagnosed with, boost their energy levels, balance hormones, gain lean muscle mass, planning for a baby or to feel better postnatally or help you fuel in the right way for a sport, hobby or competition or just life in general. I know I consider being a mom a performance sport so maybe you want to be at your best to run around after the kids or grandkids.  You may just want some guidance around what does a healthy plate of food actually consists of to meet your individual goals.

If it sounds like I can help you, please get in touch. looking forward to hearing from you,
