Meet Michelle
I’m Michelle McSweeney, a New Zealand based Holistic Womens Health Clinical Nutritionist, busy mum (to one human and one fur baby) and reformed fad dieter.
To me nutrition and food should be about living and enjoying yourself while having an overall balance. I want to help you by educating you on the basics of nutrition. I work with you to understand what is going on in your past and present health journey and life and establish what works for you from a nutrition and overall wellness perspective.
Of course understanding nutrition is only one piece of the puzzle so I like to use an integrative approach by looking at other factors such as sleep, stress, mindset, habits and exercise. I also look at various lab results and can use functional lab testing to uncover the root causes of your symptoms.
I help women if they have symptoms related to postpartum hormonal issues, PMS, endometriosis, PCOS, gut issues, fertility, perinatal nutrition and lifestyle performance nutrition and goals, weight management.

I understand that each client is unique and each holds their own goals and challenges.
My goal is to assist you in feeling your best through an individualised approach to nutritious food and a balanced lifestyle. Through a science based and most up to date research, I ensure that you are taking the right steps to have a positive impact on your total health and wellbeing.
I assess clients past and previous health history including blood tests, and what may be the underlying cause to their health concern. I review your diet diary (if you want) , discuss lifestyle habits which may be contributing to health concerns, analyse clients presenting symptoms/conditions, review supplements.
